Wonderful Weeds and Wildflowers
16 Apr, 10-2pm £45 a new venue - Langdon Garden Seasalter Road nr Faversham
The overlooked weeds that peep through the cracks, the unnoticed wildflowers that populate the verges – little do we realise the value they hold for us humans and for other living things. Spend 3 hours of discovery in the Langdon garden: smelling, feeling, naming, tasting and creating something to take away- with wonderful wildflowers and weeds. Discover you can weed less, enjoy more and make use of while supporting the wild and nature you already have.
Herb Walk at the award winning Belmont house & gardens nr Faversham 18th May 1-3pm £15
This relaxing walk will introduce you to many different herbs used today and throughout history to treat illness and maintain health.
It’s a great chance to see, smell and enjoy the plants in a beautiful garden setting and reconnect with nature that’s right on your doorstep.

Rosewater distilling 8th June 10-2 £50
Many herbs have aromatic properties we can use in skincare, household products and natural medicine. Rosewater particularly has been used over the centuries in cooking, perfumery, and skincare.
During this workshop in Belmont house stunning garden you will experience every stage of the process from picking the buds, through to the distillation using a traditional copper still and bottling.
Then take your beautiful bottle of hydrosol to enjoy at home.

Lavender distilling 29th june 10-2 £50
This pretty and very well known purple plant has powerful benefits. The fragrance from the oils of the lavender plant renowned for its calming and relaxing properties. It is a very popular herb and wonderfully versatile in the home, for health and skincare.
During this workshop, you will experience every stage of the process from picking the buds, through to the distillation using a traditional copper still and bottling. Take home your own bottle of lavender hydrosol with handouts for home use.
Summer health workshop 13th July 10-2
There are many healing herbs which can be used for common summer ailments. Garden herbs can be extremely effective, abundant, easy to find and quite often have multiple uses.
During this workshop, you will be able to gather some of the herbs we have growing in the gardens at Belmont. These will then be used to make a versatile tincture and healing ointment for you to add to your own natural summer care kit. Many herbs will be ready for harvesting such as Calendula, Lavender, Thyme and Heartsease.
All materials and detailed handouts will be provided.
